Islamic Ideology (23 Nov 2015 NewAgeIslam.Com)

  • Yes dear Muhammad Yunus sahib, ‘ISIS’ also known as Daesh is a neo-kharijite organization.

  • As long as Muslims add qualifications like ahlul Sunnah, Tassauf, Bayat and myriad of others mukhtaliful alwaanuhaa - and designate and treat the priestly class as the ulamaau 35-27,28 as the special holy class above all others; the ISIS is entitled also to use the same logical argument to propagate that they represent the real Islam—ahlul Islam-- as the only alternative to all the others.

Therefore the former factions have to immerse themselves into the Ocean of zaalikal Qitab- “that Book” 2-2, to counter their logic.

  • Dear Kalim sahib,
You may be true. But, who are the enemies of Islam today? Are they some of non-Muslims or of those who call themselves Muslims?
We have not yet known with surety about those who are actually funding ISIS, Boko Haram or Taliban. But what we have known so far is that these terrorist groups are surely enemies of Islam.
The real problem is that we are unable to defeat the terrorism of such enemies. How can we then defeat those enemies of Islam who are funding these violent groups?

  • I fail to understand that when Islam does not permit hurting people of other religions specifically while in prayer, how is it that the Boko Haram kill muslims in Fajr prayers in a mosque!!! One explanation is that this is being funded by the enemies of Islam for obvious reasons and these people are doing it without understanding it!!

  • Tis a bit more complicated.  I will just say this in short.  America is an ally of Saudi Arabia.  Russia is an ally of Syria...so not much seriousness in getting rid of this. Politics and religion have become so intertwined. As an someone who was born an American and cannot even recognize this country any more, it pains me that in the name of politics...here we are.  Behind that are religious factors driving the politics.  This is not my country.  I can see things, that you can't perhaps.  Perhaps, not, however, those words, religion, politics....have no connection to any God out there that I know, have experienced and I have come to say, that God you all say you believe in says:

God, Positive Energy, The Light, The Way, Love...hates it when men pollute the earth and commit social injustice.

God, Positive Energy, The Light, The Way, Love...loves wisdom and knowledge.

God, Positive Energy, The Light, The Way, Love says...Love Me with all you heart, soul and mind and love your brother as yourself.  Who is my brother?  Anything created of atoms and last I heard....and read...the plants talk to one another.

So, I say...when we walk away from all those words that man wants to use to pontificate a God that doesn't exist...and walk toward, Love, The Way, The Light, Positive Energy....then you will see God, who is not about any religion.  God is an Energy Force.  It is in all of us. We just need to leave the craziness behind and start moving toward the Light.

If you want to see what is going on.....U tube, Zeitgist, Moving Forward, Official Release, 2011. Then there is an Addendum to that one.  If you watch those you hopefully will see.  All way to evil, or Negative Energy.  Haven't you noticed how food is changing in the stores, that there is no quality control of goods anywhere, that it is becoming harder and harder to get on it this world.  Please tell me you can see this.

How do we pick it up...it called Love and a book I could drive you to is called, The Abundant Community:  Awakening the Power of Famillies and Neighborhoods. John McKnight, Peter Block.  So, we will see, if you can hear me.

  • If people follow the religion of their choice there will be no blood shed. ISIS is neither islam nor human. And had Jesus followed the life extracting revenge? like the americans do today ir isis id doing there would not have been anybody living today. stop blaming religion, beause it has nothing to do with what is happening in the war theater today.

  • You have truly said dear Ghaus. The entire world including Media is after all making Daesh Happy and Happy by calling it 'Islamic State'

    By Zainul Abedin - 11/24/2015 2:02:12 AM

  • The writer justly says, "The so-called “Islamic State” should be known as the “Satanic State”.

If we all start calling "ISIS" a "Satanic state", It will be the strongest punch on the foundation of "Satanic State". Since it wants the entire world to accept its khilafa i.e. “Islamic state”, the entire world is willingly or unwillingly calling it "Islamic State". The terrorists of Daesh are, to an extent, very happy because the entire world is literally accepting them as "Islamic State", the core purpose of Daesh that they want to establish in the entire world.

  • Yunus sahib, but they claim they are the true Muslims. Since we do not have an official clergy, there is no way to resolve this matter

    By Ghulam Mohiyuddin - 11/24/2015 12:43:07 AM

  • Dear Ghulam Mohiuddin Sahab,
As I read it,the following statement of the article purports to reject their claim to the faith of Islam on account of their evil actions."

"Moreover, it is the obligation of all Muslims from Ahl al-Sunnah, Ahl al-Tasawwuf, and Ahl al-Bayt (the Sunnis, the Sufis, and the Shi‘ites), to oppose the polytheism (Shirk), hypocrisy (Nifaq), apostasy (Irtidad), and schism (Shiqaq) that the Takfiris are spreading throughout the lands of Islam."

The above statement echoes the sentiments of the the following declaration made in my my article referenced below:

"Faith is between man and God but ISIS leadership has overstepped the limits of faith by inflicting the punishment of burning alive a fellow human (the just reported case involving a Jordanian captured Pilot) – a punishment that the Qur’an reserves only for God, albeit in the Spiritual Realm. Hence, this humble writer entertains no doubts in his mind that ISIS ideologues have nothing to do with Islam – and have broken the bond of faith by virtually acting like God on earth."

  • Yunus sahib, I too think a way should be found to reject their claim to the faith of Islam on account of their evil actions, but we have no mechanisms to do that. Our ulema in Saudi Arabia, Iran and Egypt are still busy fighting the Shia-Sunni wars.

  • I post below an earlier comment which is exactly what the author of the article is saying quoting the same verses.

    Naseer Ahmed

Naked aggression and oppression against defenseless people who did no harm or represent any threat. It is the worst form of Kufr that demands that these brutes are fought against and eliminated.

The following verses are a command to fight to protect the oppressed. It could be any kind of oppression or injustice against any people. Those who fight to defend the oppressed fight in the cause of Allah and the oppressors if they fight back, fight in the cause of evil.

(4:75) And why should ye not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)?- Men, women, and children, whose cry is: "Our Lord! Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from thee one who will protect; and raise for us from thee one who will help!"

    (76) Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah, and those who reject Faith Fight in the cause of Evil: So fight ye against the friends of Satan: feeble indeed is the cunning of Satan.

War against the ISIS is incumbent on Islamic countries who are able to wage such war.

  • Dear Ghulam Mohiuddin Sahab,

The article is much more than yet another condemnation that has been pouring in like torrential rain since the advent of ISIS.

It is the ‘ghaibi’ answer to the series of my articles (nine altogether) soliciting the highest echelon of religious fraternity to issue a fatwa (ruling) declaring them as kharijites - those who lost their claim to faith of Islam on account of their evil action.

This learned scholar of Islam who has attained the titles of ustadh, duktur, hakim, and shaykh, whose credentials dwarf me to obscurity, has said no less than what I have been clamoring, echoed in its following concluding remark :

“People who rape, torture, mutilate and murder civilians, non-combatants, hostages and prisoners of war are not Friends of Allah (‘awliyya’ Allah). People who destroy places of worship and sacred sites, who burn churches and blow up mosques with copies of the Holy Qur’an still in them, are not Friends of Allah. People who violate the teachings of the Qur’an, the Sunnah, the shari‘ah, and the Covenants of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, are not the Friends of Allah. If anything, they are the Friends of Satan (‘awliyya’ al-Shaytan). As Muslims, our response towards terrorists can only be one: “Fight the friends of Satan” (Qur’an 4:76); “And slay them wherever you may come upon them, and drive them away from wherever they drove you away for tumult and oppression is even worse than slaughter” (Qur’an 2:191).”

    A must read by all.

  • Dr. John Andrew has come up with working ideas. Much of the world agrees that the Islamic State needs to be crushed. But how that can be accomplished, and what the unintended consequences may be, are a lot more complicated. The group, also known as ISIS, ISIL and Daesh, has proved to be as flexible and amoebalike as it is apocalyptic and brutal.
