  • Hats Off gets his knickers in a knot when any liberal or humanitarian positions are espoused by Muslims. If he was writing on a Hindu blog, he would maintain that belief in sati and untouchability is incumbent upon any true Hindu! Of course no Hindu blog would permit a troll like him to post anything on their blog.

  • Al-Baqara (The Cow) 2:224

    Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -

    وَلاَ تَجْعَلُواْ اللّهَ عُرْضَةً لِّأَيْمَانِكُمْ أَن تَبَرُّواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ وَتُصْلِحُواْ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَاللّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ

2:224 AND DO NOT allow your oaths in the name of God to become an obstacle to virtue and God-consciousness and the promotion of peace between men: [212] for God is all-hearing, all-knowing.
As the phrase, promotion of peace between men, in Quran 2:224 does not restrict itself to only Muslims, it implies the promotion of peace includes also non-Muslims.

    An-Nisa (The Women) 4:90

    Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -

4:90 unless it be such [of them] as have ties with people to whom you yourselves are bound by a covenant, or such as come unto you because their hearts shrink from [the thought of] making war either on you or on their own folk - although, if God had willed to make them stronger than you, they would certainly have made war on you. [110] Thus, if they let you be, and do not make war on you, and offer you peace, God does not allow you to harm them. [111]

    Al-A'raf (The Heights) 7:46

    Basit
    -   Hussari -   Minshawi -

    وَبَيْنَهُمَا حِجَابٌ وَعَلَى الأَعْرَافِ رِجَالٌ يَعْرِفُونَ كُلاًّ بِسِيمَاهُمْ وَنَادَوْاْ أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ أَن سَلاَمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ لَمْ يَدْخُلُوهَا وَهُمْ يَطْمَعُونَ

7:46 And between the two there will be a barrier. [36] And there will be persons who [in life] were endowed with the faculty of discernment [between right and wrong], recognizing each by its mark. [37] And they will call out unto the inmates of paradise, "Peace be upon you!"-not having entered it themselves, but longing [for it].
As the phrase, discernment [between right and wrong], is mentioned in Quran 7:46 with the word, peace, it implies Quran relates peace to those who can discern what is right to do good.
    Ibrahim (Abraham) 14:23

    Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -

    وَأُدْخِلَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ تَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلاَمٌ

14:23 But those who shall have attained to faith and done righteous deeds will be brought into gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide by their Sustainer's leave, and will be welcomed with the greeting, "Peace!"
As the phrase, done righteous deeds, is mentioned in Quran 14:23 with the phrase, will be welcomed with the greeting peace, it implies Quran relates those who do righteous deeds to peace be with them since they can enter into paradise peacefully as what is extracted below:
    An-Nahl (The Bee) 16:32

    Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -

    الَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّاهُمُ الْمَلآئِكَةُ طَيِّبِينَ يَقُولُونَ سَلامٌ عَلَيْكُمُ ادْخُلُواْ الْجَنَّةَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

16:32 those whom the angels gather in death while they are in a state of inner purity, greeting them thus: "Peace be upon you! Enter paradise by virtue of what you were doing [in life]!"
    Al-Hujurat (The Dwellings) 49:9

    Basit -   Hussari -   Minshawi -

49:9 Hence, if two groups of believers fall to fighting, [9] make peace between them; but then, if one of the two [groups] goes on acting wrongfully towards the other, fight against the one that acts wrongfully until it reverts to Gods commandment; [10] and if they revert, make peace between them with justice, and deal equitably [with them]: for verily, God loves those who act equitably!
As the phrase, make peace between them justice and deal equitably, is mentioned in Quran 49:9, it implies peace in the Quran is to do justice and to do equitably with them and yet Orwellian supporters support peace is not to do justice and to do equitably with non-Muslims.

  • Is Quran the word of Allah?  Quran 2:2 (Moshin Khan translation), "This is the Book (the qur'an) whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqun [the pious believers of Islamic Monotheism who fear Allah much...".
As Quran 2:2 above mentions Quran is the word of Allah, surely the words written are reliable and Muslims have to reject what is contradictory to the book of Quran.
As both Orwellian Islamic Scholars and wiki have written contradictorily against Quran, Quran should stand instead of all their words since their words are not the word of Quran.  Unless anyone should declare that their words should supersede the words of Quran, their words stand.  If their words can be used to supersede the words of Quran, Quran would turn up not to be the words of Allah but them their words.  As Quran stands permanently to be the words of Allah, their words have to be rejected.
It is indisputable that Quran is the word of Allah that has been sent down from Allah since Quran 2:4 (Moshin Khan translation, mentions), "And who believe in (the qur'an and the Sunnah) which ha ssent down (revealed) to you (O Muhammad)...".  As Quran is the word of Allah that sent down from Allah, Quran is most reliable than any other sources, i.e. wiki, Orwellian scholars.

  • can mr. zuma let us know why such a renowned islamic scholar of international repute is wrong and why mr. zuma thinks himself to be right?

as a corollary how is it possible for two people to come to opposite conclusions based on the same set of verses?

and who is to decide who is right? is there is such diverse and contrary and contradictory readings are made by different people, how can you call it a book withing which there is no doubt?

  • Orwellian World of Islam Scholars make erroneous definition to the word, peace, since their words imply waging war with non-Muslims.
The right definition of peace as spelt out in Quran is as follows:
Quran 2:11 (Moshin Khan translation), "...Make not mischief on the earth...We are only peace-makers."
As the phrase, Make not mischief on the earth, is mentioned in Quran 2:11 with the word, peace-makers, it implies peace refers to making no mischief on earth.
Quran 2:224 (Mohsin Khan translation), "...make not Allah's (Name) an excuse...against your doing good and acting piously, and making peace among mankind...".
As the phrase, make not Allah's (Name) an excuse in...doing good and acting piously, is mentioned in Quran 2:224 with the word, peace, it implies Quran refers peace to doing good and acting piously instead of doing evil, i.e. killing, stealing and maltreating non-Muslims and etc.
Quran 4:90 (Mohsin Khan translation), "...So if they withdraw from you, and fight not against you, and offer you peace...".
As the phrase, fight not against you, is mentioned in Quran 4:90 with the word, peace, it implies Quran refers peace to not to fight and yet Orwellian supporters support fighting with non-Muslims.
Quran 4:128 (Mohsin Khan translation), "...making peace is matter...do good and keep away from evil...".
As the phrase, do good and keep away from evil, is mentione din Quran 4:128 with the word, peace, it implies Quran refers peace to avoid in evil doing and do justice.
Quran 9:40 (Mohsin Khan translation), "...calmness, tranquillity, peace..".
As the words, calmness..tranquillity, is mentioned in Quran 9:40 with the word, peace, it implies Quran discourages riots, war and etc.
From the above explanation, it is rational to conclude that, according to Quran, peace to Non-Islamic societies is not to have mischief with them; not to fight with them; not to do evil with them; and etc; instead of warring with them.
War to destroy these societies is not peace.  Instead, war to destroy these societies is to go against Quran in create mischief on earth; do evil; and etc.

  • We must discard the whole Jehad ideology. It is not Islamic. Islam means peace.
