Samajwadi Party MP Mohammed Azam Khan gave an impressive speech in the parliament after president’s address which is lauded by one and all. The video of his logical speech also went viral on social media. In his speech, Azam Khan made it clear that Lok Sabha must be run on a constitutional basis, not on a religious basis. He added that no one can force him to say Vande Mataram nor stop him from saying.

He highlighted the role of Muslims in the freedom struggle and said Delhi’s Jama Masjid, Taj Mahal, Lal Qila are the iconic structures of India which are given to the country by Muslims.

Azam Khan also said that the issue of triple Talaq was a personal matter of Muslims and nothing else will be acceptable except that mentioned in the Holy Quran.

  • islam demands that you ONLY submit to allah's laws as laid down in the Qur'an, the sira and the hadees.
it also demands that you (as a muslim) should not subject yourself to man made laws, especially when they are created by the idolators, polytheists and other najis peoples - kuffar in another well loved word.

  • It is true that no one can force him to say Vande Mataram but it is not true that the issue of triple Talaq is a personal matter of Muslims.
The Constitution gives us freedom of speech. It also gives women equal rights.
